Ordering delivery from IKEA was a last option because of the added cost, but the stores did not have the desk I wanted in stock. A day before my chosen delivery date, I received a text reminder from XPO. I never heard of this company so I decided to look up reviews... they were awful as you can read below! I was a bit nervous on how my delivery would go. However, my experience was very smooth. I am guessing they have taken the feedback seriously as it could reflect negatively on IKEA as well. I was sent another text in the morning that my package would be delivered today, and another text when they were about 30 minutes away (it ended up being more like 60 minutes but I was home anyways), and a call when they were 2 minutes away. There was a driver, and a loader who brought my things to my house. The loader was very nice and professional. He offered to help carry it inside because he said it was heavy, but due to the pandemic I told him he could leave it at the door for me. Masks were worn by both drivers. Overall my experience with XPO was great and I am relieved not to have the negative experiences written by other reviewers. Hopefully my experience is the new normal going forward after they received so many bad reviews.

We just received our IKEA order and unfortunately I didn't get our delivery peoples' names, but they were extremely helpful. The phone notifications gave us a good idea of when to expect the packages. The guys unloaded from truck, loaded into their carts, and helped carry stuff to in front of my door. Very very helpful!!! I was really happy with the service.I got an automated call checking on delivery (probably asking for review) but it disconnected for some reason, so leaving a review here instead.

We were initially weary of their delivery based on the many negative reviews but we had a very good experience with XPO delivery of our ikea furniture.Our initial delivery did get rescheduled; however, they did inform us of this midway through the original scheduled window.The delivery was confirmed via text the day before with an option to call to reschedule if needed.I was notified within the scheduled delivery window when the truck was about 30 mins away, and the delivery did arrive as planned.The delivery guys were very nice and extremely helpful. Initially we were concerned ikea may have sent us the wrong coloured item - however, the delivery guys reassured us that if the wrong item was sent, Ikea had a return (with pick up) policy in place for the next two days.Overall we had a good experience and would pay for the delivery again.

I would give them no stars if possible. They arrived with half the order said they would return later with the rest and never returned. My newly renovated and painted entryway now has holes in the walls, the stairway has dings, scratches and dirt up the entire wall and my railing is scratched down to the bare wood from top to bottom. They arrived with no dollies(what kind of logistics company has none on their truck??) and dragged the first box up the driveway in the rain. The driver wanted me to sign for the entire delivery and I refused to sign until all the items were delivered. He was extremely rude and uncaring about the damages. I called their company to find out when the last item was going to be delivered and was told there is no expected date for delivery!! I guess I will be heading to Ikea tomorrow to get this resolved.

Ikea used them to deliver furniture. They showed up and unloaded the shipment and had to wait 15 minutes, when we arrived to receive shipment they refused to deliver and loaded back into truck and left. Ikea sent them a second time and they were at the wrong building and complaining no one was there to receive shipment. Terrible service all around.

Zero stars! Absolutely horrible service all the way down the chain. Given zero communication on my delivery when I contacted the company I ordered through I finally got a call giving me ten minutes to be home for my package. I told the dispatcher and driver it would take me thirty minutes to get home but I’d be there. They weren’t willing to even wait after they didn’t provide a delivery window. They then scheduled it for a couple days later or so they said. Then the next day I get an automated call saying I need to reschedule. I call and they give me a date a month away. They then proceed to not even address the problem and continue to pass my call to different departments where no one was will to address the issue or even allow me to pick up my package in person.Sucks when you have no choice on the courier service that a company chooses to use cause clearly by reviews you can see this company doesn’t care about the receiving end of their service.

I recently had 2 large IKEA delivery on weekends from XPO Logistics, one online order and one from IKEA Coquitlam store. I was nervous about the delivery after reading some online stories but their services are wonderful.XPO called to remind me the delivery date. And the delivery guys called me 30 minutes before and the time they arrived. Both delivery trucks arrived within the first 30-60 minutes of the 4-hour window. They were very friendly, fast and professional. Some of them offered me tips about furniture assembling. All the products ordered were delivered in clean and good condition. I definitely recommend their service.

IKEA delivery, never again; zero stars should be an option.XPO Logistics decides to show up when it's convenient for them, not during the scheduled delivery time when you've booked the building elevator and their favourite response is We can't do that

This company is absolute garbage! I had an IKEA delivery and when they were bringing the boxes in, they broke the exit sign in my apartment hallway. Definitely an honest mistake, but I was charged $125 for the damage from my building manager. I reached out to them multiple times, explained the situation, filled out the paperwork and sent the proof. I have called to follow up multiple times and every-time I call I am given an excuse, and told “a manager will reach out to you” and NOBODY has. Great work guys, very unprofessional.

I’m actually surprised by the bad reviews. Maybe they dramatically improved the service recently? I got 2 deliveries from XPO Logistic via IKEA but during both times I had good experience. The delivery person contacted me beforehand, handled with care and delivered to my unit without any problem.The delivery person was nice and helpful as well even though I had complicated order where I had to refund the item directly to the delivery person (weird IKEA return system).
